ASSOCIATE
As an Associate with the firm, Alysa manages her own clients and also works to assist our Principal Lawyer on more complicated matters. Alysa is exceptionally well versed in the intricacies of the family law system and legislative constructs. Alysa takes the time to understand the complexities which underpin her client’s circumstances, and thereafter applies her legal training and professional experience to co-design a strategic approach which will realise tangible outcomes for her clients.

Parenting disputes, including relocation, alienation and “risk matters”
Domestic violence matters, representing both victims of domestic violence and alleged perpetrators of domestic violence

With experience and maturity well beyond her years, Alysa exercises her adept skills in empathy and compassion in guiding her client’s through the turmoil which often accompanies relationship transitions.
With a strong desire to continuously build upon her professional knowledge and give back to the profession, Alysa is an appointed committee member of the Queensland Young Lawyers Association, and a registered member of the Family Law Practitioners Association, Family Law Section and the Queensland Law Society.
Alysa holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Queensland University of Technology.
